You receive a hand-made soap by free and use it for one or two weeks at home.

You need to meet us with the soap again.

You will be asked questions from us which are not explained from us beforehand.

The questions may change depending on the development of the relationship between you and us.

Soap was chosen as an object to start connecting to people in Taipei. We distributed hand-made soap on streets in five different area of the city. Ninety five curious people received soap in total and we tried to meet all of them. Fifty four soap-users could manage to meet us again once or several times. Our intention was not to ask about the soap quality. We explored how much users received impression by using soaps and how the power balance could be changed between a soap-user and a soap-offer. Each meeting was described on artis's diary.

At the end of the project, we organised the soap meeting which soap-users shared the individual experiences each other and talked their own thoughts about the project intentions. User's portrait photos and text of communication between users and us were shown at the end of the exhibition.
